OMAR JOINS HAN
Michael Kenneth Williams, perhaps best known as Omar on The Wire, has joined the as-yet-untitled Han Solo spinoff film! That’s literally all we know; no character hints whatsoever. Seems like LFL is at least starting to get the “wow, that’s a lot of white folks” memo, though. Faster than Marvel is, at any rate. (Source)

MORE STAR WARS LUMINARIES TO BE AT CELEBRATION
Well hello, what have we here? Suave-master Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian), along with Alan Tudyk (K-2SO), Vanessa Marshall (Hera Syndulla), and Matthew Wood (General Grievous) will be on-hand at Celebration for your autograph-signing pleasure. (Source)
VADER RETURNS
Last, but certainly not least, Marvel announced this week that Charles Soule and Giuseppe Camuncoli would be teaming up to bring us a new Darth Vader comic book series. Called Darth Vader, because Marvel doesn’t quite seem to get why naming two books the same thing could be confusing, this book doesn’t pick up where the Gillen/Larocca run ended, but takes place earlier, in the time immediately after Revenge of the Sith and the Vader No. The first arc will evidently concern Vader building his new lightsaber, because as Soule puts it, “what better way to start a big huge series than with a quest for a magic sword?” Hits shelves in June.
