I have been terribly disappointed in the quality of writing in the expanded universe for several years now, and was particularly disappointed with what happened to the character of Mara Jade Skywalker. I felt there was much more left for this character to accomplish and more stories for her to be involved with going forward. It seems to me that instead of writing creative stories that inspire optimism and hope,(which is what the movies did) the powers that be would rather produce stories of pessimistic “kill a main character to draw book sales” approach. With the resurrection of Darth Maul in the Clone Wars, it seems strange to me he is back, is there any hope for the return of the fabulous character of Ms. Jade Skywalker? Also, from what I have read lately, it seems everyone at Del Rey books is anxious to skip ahead to the Legacy comics era and forget about the original time frame and characters, which is a terrible shame!
We never got any sort of pay off with the “youth serum” from FOTJ. Any ideas on how or if that’ll come into play? Crucible’s gonna focus on the AARP, i mean the big three. maybe there? Can you imagine a younger big three fighting alongside Ben, Jaina, and Allana?
