I generally think Jay Leno is a hack and has been phoning it in for years. I generally think Jaywalking is the most vapid recurring segment in comedy. I’m willing to make an exception when Mark Hamill crashes a Star Trek parody.

Remember when Patton Oswalt delivered an improv 8 minute proposal for Episode VII that linked the Marvel Universe with the Star Wars one via Thanos for Parks and Recreation?
Well, it got the animated treatment from YouTuber Isaac Moores.

For those of you that want to avoid anything to do with this movie until it releases for fear of spoilers, avoid this clip.

“Maybe [the Fake Geek Girl] is just a manifestation of the insecurities about the opposite sex. I mean, why else in God’s green Earth would anyone pretend to read Aquaman comics?”
Much has been said about the Fake Geek Girl meme and why it’s utterly bogus. But sometimes it takes a video to point out the silliness of it all. Cue Patrick Willems’ humorous video response to the mythical Fake Geek Girl. What possible motivation could a female have for faking an interest in geek culture? Clearly, the only explanation is murder.
If you think the Fake Geek Girl actually exists, be sure to post a comment on the video’s YouTube page so that the creator can make fun of you.

Hey, if Neil deGrasse Tyson does something geeky in video format, you know there’s a good chance we’re going to link said geekery here.
In a rare foray into non-fandom issues, Mark Hamill sounded off on his thoughts on the presidential election at Comic-Con this week. The gist of the story? Luke Skywalker is apparently a Barack Obama fan and had a few things to say about Mitt Romney, keeping in the Comic-Con theme of things in his answer: “And you look at Romney—and I’m sure he’s a nice guy, but I think he’s like The Thing: He only imitates human behavior. He’s not actually human himself.”
