Book Wars Pod, Episode 165: He’s a Bronx Raccoon

We’re starting our read of Queen’s Hope by EK Johnston, the final book in her trilogy focusing on Padmé Amidala. This week, we discuss gender representation in Star Wars, seeing a new side to Padmé’s character, and what it must be like to be married to a rabid raccoon in human form.

For this book, we’re highlighting Transformations KC. Transformations KC is a trans people of color led organization focused on capacity building and leadership development among trans communities of color, particularly youth without traditional systems of support, in Missouri, Kansas, and the Ozark Mountain region in Northern Arkansas.
